MG Motor India, the first car made from Halol plant in Gujarat, has finally launched in India today. The company has brought the car into the Indian mid-size SUV segment. The company presented it in India on May 15 and started booking it from June 4. The speculation about the price of this car has been broken and finally it will be available at 12.18 lakh (ex-showroom) price.
MG Hector is a connected SUV. It combines many connectivity and segment first features. Currently, the dealers are booking this car there, you have to say that the price of this car will be as aggressive as the car is being discussed in advance. Currently bookings are being done with a token amounts of Rs 50,000. The company will offer unlimited km warranty for five years on this car. MG Hector is currently launching 5-seat models in India. By April 2020, the company will also be able to bring the 7-seater model of the car by the launch of the BS6 emission to be applied in India.
MG Hector is an Internet connected car, with an AI-inbuilt voice assisting system. The software, hardware, connectivity, service and apps technology developed by Cisco, Unlimit and Microsoft together. On the go, Airtel has given e-SIM cards for the Internet connection in the car. Its interiors have a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Along with this, 17 brick dual tone alloy wheels are also given to make sportier look attractive.
This car will be available in 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter petrol hybrid, 2.0-liter diesel engine variant. Automatic options in petrol variants will also be available. The car will be available at the first stage in four Variant-Style, Super, Smart and Sharp.
