The India’s first electric car Mahindra E2o production was closed

Mahindra & Mahindra stopped production of its first electric car. This car has not been produced since March 31. The e2o made on the Reva platform has not been in the way of Mahindra’s expectations. Therefore, the decision to stop production of this car has been taken. The price of this car is 4.79 lakh.

According to sources, Mahindra & Mahindra will continue to sell its first zero pollution car e2o in Nepal. So far, 400 e2o cars have been sold in countries including India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Mahindra took part in Reva Electric Car Company about nine years ago. The company then made the e2o car. Now after closing the car, Mahindra will bring its electric version of the Micro SUV KUV100 to the market.

The e2o car is assembled in Karnataka. The three variants of this car on three-door come with P2, P4 and P6. It can cut the maximum distance of 140 kilometers in P2 Variant single charge. While the remaining two variants can cut the distance of 110 kilometers. P2 Veritas comes with a single phase 16 ampere charger of 3 kW, which charge the car for 7 hours and 20 minutes in full. When a 10-kW three-pronged charger, 32-ampere charger charges the car in just 1 hour and 35 minutes. Mahindra has installed a battery made of lithium ion in this car. For this car, it also offers 3 years and 60,000 kilometers of warranty.

The e2o four-seat hatchback car produces 25.4 horsepower at 3500 rpm and 70 nm torque at 1050 rpm. Apart from this, features like Regenerative Breaking, Smartphone app connectivity, Lock-unlock from the phone, Pre-cooling from the app are also offered.
